Safe Practices Don’t Go Unnoticed

“Middle Georgia Concrete Constructors, Inc. and CSolutions have recently ramped up our safety program by becoming certified as a Georgia Drug-free Workplace, which includes both drug testing for pre-hire, post-accident and reasonable suspicion, as well as ongoing safety training for supervisors and employees,” said Noelle Davis, Human Resources director.
Middle Georgia Concrete Constructors continues to find ways to improve safety while maintaining the high level of output and efficiency our clients have come to expect.
MGCC Awarded Parking Deck at Gwinnett Arena
Posted in Project Announcements on August 15th, 2008 by Andrew HessParking at Gwinnett Arena is about to get a whole lot easier for sports fans and concert goers, thanks to Middle Georgia Concrete Constructors and Mathias Corporation. A parking deck, which will fit about 960 cars, will be built over a storm water retention area.
MGCC has been awarded the horizontal concrete package pertinent to the Gwinnett Arena Parking Deck project. The construction of this project is scheduled to begin during the fourth quarter of 2008 and will consist of 330,000 square feet of slab on grade, slab on metal deck, topping slabs, and wearing slabs.
Middle Georgia Concrete Constructors, Inc. Featured in Concrete Contractor Magazine

The article featured our project management system and how it is helping MGCC streamline operations and achieve our projected 2008 corporate goals.
The four-page article was written by Concrete Contractor Editor Rebecca Wasilewski, who visited in February and spent time out in the field with Scott Truax learning more about MGCC.

MGCC was the Feature Story in February's Concrete Contractor Magazine
The article also tells readers about the history of Middle Georgia Concrete and CSolutions, starting with the formation of MGCC by Paul Mandall in 2002. The story continues with Scott Truax joining Paul in 2004 and forming CSolutions as a division of MGCC.
A portion of the cover story is dedicated to CSolutions and highlights the recent completion of the Cherry Street restoration project in Macon, Georgia. CSolutions was called in to perform the project when the original contractor could not meet the budget. Through creative solutions and cooperation with landscape architects, the idea became a reality.
